Dear Mrs Eddy

I have been reading your books Science and HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and will come to you as one human in distress to another who has power to help I am a farmer wife way out here in Iowa and my husbands circumstances will not allow me to come to BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts and besed[*]Gap: word.Reason: page cut. he is a disbeliever in Metaphysical healing – and can I study this great thing at home - I have felt a call from God to go forward and when I have asked how the words "Write to Mrs Eddy– have sounded repeatedly in my ears I am the Mother of 4 children the youngest not 2 years yet, and you can see the impracticability of my attending your College Will you write me whether I can learn at home to demonstrate, and what will be the fee, and how long it will take I have a dear Mother with cancer a brother who is a cripple and I feel God tells me to heal them as I belief it is only Mortal mind that makes them believe it– write and help me and may God bless you every hour of your life is my prayer-
