We have, northeastAs Written:north east, about 7 miles of our little town, a young lady about 21 years- of age that all our news-papers speak of as "The Sleeping Beauty" no doubt you have read about her ere this. Today my only sister went out to see this "girl and I will describe As Written: discribe her case just as clearly to you as I possibility can. I feel so confident that you can restore her that I am determined to do all I can in this matter. I am anxious to show to the people here that Metaphysics is not that Great Humbug that is spoken of out here All our doctors have tried their skill and so for all have failed. Now I will begin, Five weeks ago last Monday, Miss Dishner was washing clothes she stoppedAs Written: stoped about noon and said that she had a headacheAs Written:headach. She lay down on the bed and went to sleep. She slept for 9 days when she awoke asked for a cup of coffee to drink and some water and soap she wanted to wash herself. It was given her, after which she went to sleep again and has never awakened since. She looks very happy has a sweet smile on her face breathesAs Written: breaths as regularly as you or I do. Is warm, has never been cold. They open her mouth and give her food which she takes, in an easy manner. her bowels move every day; but she cannotAs Written:can not open her eyes, neither talk or move a limb, her limbs are not stiff you can place her arms or legs just like you can those of a child, She has a nervous twitching under the eyelidsAs Written:eylids. I am certain that she can hear for when one speaks of her in the room, she flushes up red; when you stop speaking of her she seems calm and peaceful. She does not loose in flesh, –at least one cannotAs Written:can not notice it.
