While I may not be prepared to accept at once your views, I certainly cannot deny the good work you are doing, & I am seeking light & want to send it to the world. I was glad to hear what you say of Mrs. Merrick, for I could not believe she represents the Christian Scientists, for she is not a Christian, in her talk at least. Many of her statements are absurd & contrary to established facts, & they hurt her and the cause she represents. I have been thinking very seriously of having my wife go to Boston to take the course in your College as she is a firm believer in the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science & is a woman of remarkable f aith in prayer, but she is greatly in need of light & of encouragement.
