Sarah K. Merrick (1832-1903) was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, and died in River Forest, Illinois. She was a metaphysician who became interested in Christian Science in late 1883. In early 1884 Merrick studied with Edward J. Arens, most likely in Boston or Chicago. After studying with Arens, she practiced in Chicago, Illinois, and Minneapolis, Minnesota. There is no record of Merrick studying with Mary Baker Eddy.
