Dear Mrs Eddy

Your pupil – Mrs Laura Lathrop, now practicing in N. Y–Editorial Note: New York, New York is a dear friend of Mrs. J. C. Burrows,- a friend of mine, who has known me for the last fifteen years – Mrs Burrow's home is here in Kalamazoo- If you wish to assure yourself of the sincerity of what I write you, you can do so through Mrs Lathrop – Mrs Burrows just came from New YorkAs Written:N. Y- where she visited Mrs Lathrop –

Mrs Lathrop told Mrs Burrows that if you were certain of the purity of motive- and steadfastness of purpose of an applicant for instruction you would allow such an one to go through the class free of expense – I should want to pay you afterward –

I am a poor girl – I have read your bookEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and am healed myself – have healed a few friends – but I feel so ignorant – I want you to read me – tell me what I lack –

Dear Mrs Eddy, if I could only express to you the intensity of my desire to study this wonderful Truth with you! I want to give my life to the work - May I come?
