We are informed that you publish the principal work extant upon the subjectEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. We shall be pleased to receive a copy for the customary notice in our journal, or we will remit the price if you do not wish a notice.

At present there is a great deal of interest on the subject in this cityEditorial Note: Minneapolis, Minnesota, and we are stronly Corrected: strongly of the opinion that the City contains several rank impositors Corrected: impostors who are making money.

The writers wife has been receiving treatment, with apparent success, from a Mrs. Merrick who does not announce exactly what she claims to [?] Unclear or illegible  be, i.e., mind healer, Christian scientist, or Metaphysician, and we have some anxiety upon the subject as she says somethings Corrected: some things contrary to the teachings of Scripture.

Mrs. Klein (the writer's wife) is an intimate friend of Mrs. S. J. Hanna, of Leadville, Colo.Expanded:Colorado, who is doing much good in the treatment of the poor, and it is she who has referred us to you for information concerning the various healers.
