Dear Madam,

It was my pleasure a few weeks since, while visiting in Syracuse New YorkAs Written:N. Y. to meet one of your pupils. Miss Osgood, who is there at work healing by Christian Science She very earnestly urged my wife and myself to attend your September course of lectures at Boston. I now write to make inquiryAs Written:enquiry, 1st as to the time when your College will open in September, and how long time will be required: 2nd Will there be place for me on the terms advertised As Written: advertized for a "limited number of Clergymen" 3d Would you accept my wife as a student on the same terms if I was not with her?

I am pastor of the Baptist church here in Bristol, but my term of 12 1/2 years' As Written: years service here terminates Sep 1- and I then go to Salem New JerseyAs Written:N. J. I am very much in doubt whether I could, in justice to others, take the time this Sep. though my wife might. Hence I wish to know the exact time.

An answer to these inquiries As Written: enquiries will assist me in determining what is best to do.

Yours truly
D. Dewolf
