I wrote you not long since after the receipt of telegram. hope you read As Written: reed the same. I think I do appreciate every favor As Written: faver from you – I wrote Miss Mourn yesterday in reference to some pamphlets and mentioned Mrs Fullers failing condition. I called at her door on my way home from As Written: fom Church this morning found her in tears, and she said. I cannot long endure my sufferings in belief I feel I am fast giving way. Is there no help for me?

She says I do not doubt the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science, but some somehow As Written: how I cannot get into the understanding of it. She told me that she had written Miss Bartlett hoping someone As Written: some one in the Association might be induced to take her case. The other night she Said I saw in dreams or a - vision the College in Boston and a bright cloud seemed to stand above it. And she Said there may be light yet coming to me from that Source. God grant it. is the prayer of your humble student – I this morning received a letter from Mrs Mary Hill now in Vernon New York.

Mary is desirous of studying again and with you. Some are trying to persuade her in another As Written: an other direction. I have known Mrs Hill for the past twenty years or more. I know her to be a worthy woman. She has not worldly goods or means, hers has been a life of toil, and self denial. She has lived many years in a small attic As Written: atic chamber, patiently plying her needle to support an invalid helpless husband. and a widowed mother, and some helpless children sisters. Noble Mary we all say, her pale wan face has told to all more than could be expressed in words –

John 5:4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. John 5:5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. John 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? John 5:7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. John 5:8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. John 5:9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. John 5:10 ¶The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. John 5:11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. John 5:12 Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk? John 5:13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. John 5:15 The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole. I wrote her a letter of sixteen pages this pm giving her all the encouragement, and advising her as best I knew how in her care –

You cannot know Gods worthy poor alwaysAs Written: alway , but they are known to him – “ The poor ye have with you alwayMark 14:7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always. said heEditorial Note: Jesus Christ”, I have only two cases now and both are doing well. One is an old time case of Catarrh and the other a belief of cold my Charly. both members of my own family the other is the man of all work about house and grounds. You must now be in the midst of your class. I suppose Mr Sherman is with you as Miss Platt wrote me he was going!

You may not find time to read my letter. I do not ask a reply, but I do hope you may again come West so that I may see your dear face in the flesh. I hope someday As Written: some day to visit Boston but it will not be till all the boys are in College and that time is at the least three years distant.
