Mattie Williams (1841-1892) was born in New York and died in Columbus, Wisconsin. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, studying with her in February 1884 and joining the Christian Scientist Association on March 5, 1884. Williams returned to Columbus after studying with Eddy and she maintained an active healing practice for several years. There is no record of her uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
