Extract from the letter to Miss. Minnie Hall of E. W. Spaulding

I am anticipating letters from you with some of Mrs E.s sayings I long to know what points she most dwells on in these 6 lectures I wonder where she begins. No matter how you write use pencil if easier just write what you can remember & we will copy and have them all in apple-pieAs Written:apple pie order for you to take with you when you reach Chicago.

My sister wrote us after each lesson and Mr S. wrote down the sentiments Mrs E. expressed – picking them out here and there – My sister writing whenever they come to her- We have 24 pages of them and now Mr S is copying them to send back to my sister, as we have told her what a help they were to us. Mr S. writes a letter this P.M. to your excellent mother

I shall think of you as I open my eyes tomorrow morning– wondering how near Boston you are then. How I'd love to be with you and take you around that city of narrow streets that city where I studied music – that city where I expect to study the Divine Science.

Your loving friend
E. W- Spaulding.

A true copy attest
