My dear Mrs. Eddy

Enclosed please find the money and bill. I presume the delay of your tenants in not paying sooner was owing to the departure of my beloved husband. It is to be hoped hereafter they will be more prompt.

My desire is to in this business of collecting rents. Work is a great blessing to those who are suffering from bereavement. Do we not find it the panacea for loneliness?

I would like to increase the business by having more rents to collect. I would be glad to aid you in any way that is in my power to do.

YoursAs Written:Yrs truly.
M. H. Austin.
