Mrs. Webster and I. enclose P. O. order for # 25.00 Twenty Five DollarsEditorial Note: $25.00 in 1885 is the equivalent of $658.91 in 2019. It is possible that this money was being sent in response to an article in the September 1885 issue of The Christian Science Journal requesting contributions towards a church building fund. – our very first money earned in "Science"Editorial Note: Christian Science

We both have a good many patients –but not many paying ones – as far as money pays–

We are very glad to do even as little as this for the church and hope to be able to do more for the causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science..

We received our Diploma's Have them framed and hung by your picture in our office

Hope the "one year Clause." won’t As Written: wont be necessary in our Case, as we intend to "hold steadfastly" many years

We make the order payable to

C A Frye C. S. Sub P.O. Station A. supposing he will get it cashed for you.
