P01761 Elizabeth Webster (c.1842-1910) was born in New York and died in Chicago,
Illinois. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, completing the Primary class (1885),
Normal (1886), and Obstetrical (1887) classes. She joined the Christian Scientist
Association in October 1885 and, in October 1892, joined The First Church of Christ,
Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. In November 1886, she chartered the Union Park
Institute of Christian Science, Chicago, where she taught alongside Mary M. W. Adams,
who was also a student of Eddy's. Webster later became a Christian Science practitioner
and teacher listed in the directory of
The Christian Science
Journal and served in that capacity until her passing.
