A response by Eddy to Fallows’ article was published in the June 1885 issue of Mind in Nature. without my replying, but can to the lady who at length in self defence from his personal attacks speaks from the honest sense of his misrepresentations of what she teachesEditorial Note: Christian Science, the simple truth, there is nothing to expect of justice to her or the cause she representsEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science.

Those who deny the power of Truth to destroy error are not practicing my teachings, if they have been my students; and those students of mine who are honest and understand my teachings will tell you it is truth alone that heals, and no personal effect whatever.
