Dear Mrs Eddy,

I regret that neither my husband nor myself can attend your next Normal C- or the Wednesday Meeting of Christian ScientistsAs Written:C. S.

I am home and Mr Day is at my old field– viz FreeportEditorial Note: Freeport, Illinois, but will return this week I think for permanent stay in Chicago. The Light shines- to me so clearly that I am always surprised that my patient does not go away healed at every treatment. I was called early this morning to a neighbor's As Written: neighbors servant. with bilious colic– In fifteen minutes after I sat down by her she was asleep- has had no cramps since- "The Truth had set her free." I never trouble myself about the result, after I give a treatment. It is the Truth, and the Truth is God– what can stand against it?

I write to let you know that I am still your loving student
