Regarding the price of tuition will say, on my three lists it stands .. "Regular tuition $300Editorial Note: $300.00 in 1885 is the equivalent of $7,947.65 in 2020., for indigents reduction 1/3," leaving the charity list without pay

For yourself and daughterEditorial Note: Either Ethel Thompson Cornelius (nee Seal) (1868-1916) or Harriet F. Seal (1864-1949). I will make my highest reduction, not on the grade of indigents, but for the privilege it is to me to teach two in the same family, they are such helps to each other in the future for I shall make it clear to you both

Will discount to each $100Editorial Note: $100.00 in 1885 is the equivalent of $2,649.22 in 2020. leaving your tuition $200Editorial Note: $200.00 in 1885 is the equivalent of $5,298.43 in 2020. per pupil.
