Dear Sir:

Some weeks since I forwarded you a "Card"Editorial Note: This card is not extant. over my own signature to refute the public notice from a newspaper statement that I was dead!

I have suffered in my business from the publication some months ago of such report and wish to as publicly correct it. Please inform me if Card has been receivedAs Written:recieved and if it has been printed? Also forward me a copy of your paper. If you are not publishing articles of the kind outside of your advertizing rates, I will pay you your rates for giving my "Card" a conspicuous place in your paper.

Please reply at once.
