My dear Student

I have just finished the perusal of "Christian Science and Science"

I need not say to the author I consider it one thing or another. The honest conviction you manifest and the courage of your convictions are, must must be, apparent As Written: apparant to anyone As Written: any one

I wish you would repeat your pen work at every opportunity As Written: oppertunity . Please accept my thanks for this article in behalf of the public whom I know must be benefited by it

Pardon the jarring strings of my last letter. I have cut those chords and no more shall they give forth such tones; unless it be brought about by circumstances in which conscience compels As Written: compells me. Dear Mrs. W. is not alone in the struggles of nature and grace She is unfortunate in some things that hinder her progress I rebuke and I encourage. I am stern and gentle by turns with her but only to do her good – for I am not naturally mean in my mental states

Now rejoice As Written: rejoce in Him, the Truth and Love that is Good Tenderly and truly
