Accession: L09794
Editorial Title: Mary B. Webster, April 5, 1868
Author: Mary B. Webster
Annotator: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: April 5, 1868
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Mary B. Webster on lined paper with a notation at the bottom in Mary Baker Eddy’s hand.
Editorial Note: This document dates from the period when Mary Baker Eddy was living at the home of Mary B. Webster in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Webster was a spiritualist and medium who held seances in her home. The contents of the document apparently represent a communication Webster believed to be coming from the spirit world during one of her seances. Although the communication speaks positively about Mary Baker Eddy, it is known that Eddy herself was not a believer in spiritualism.
