The undersigned hereby agree in consideration of instruction to be given to one of us relating to the treatment of disease, orally and by manuscripts, to pay her one hundred and fifty dollarsEditorial Note: $150.00 in 1871 is the equivalent of $3,182.11 in 2020. at the commencement of the term of instruction, and at the close of this term of three weeks, and upon the commencement of doctoring the sick, to keep a record of all sums received by Helen M. Blood from the practice of the modes of treatment so taught by her, and to pay to her ten percent on all sums so received, the same to be paid anually so long as I shall continue in such practice. And I hereby further agree to render to her as often as once in each year upon her request, a just and true account of all sums so received by me
