My dear Mrs Ewing-

I presume you have heard nothing from the teams that I have sent to you judging from the conduct of my driver yesterday with whom I took a carriage to go for you myself and he took me away from your street and I ordered him to drive back to the College. My horse died a few weeks since in the stable and in the night. So I have been at the mercy of strangers since. The team at the CornerAs Written:Cor. of Chester Park and Columbus Ave. is more trustworthy when I can get it. I shall try to avail myself of this one and show you our pretty suburbsAs Written:suberbs, but it is seldom I can find him the driver without prior appointments.

I shall be happy to receive a call from you soon and will send one of the servants to inform you the very first opportunityAs Written:oppertunity.

Affectionately
