My dear Students

Your kind letters and memory of me makes me very grateful to you. but I have so little chance with so many correspondents to show my gratitude I am almost ashamed to name it. I ought to tell you that I have retired from business, but you have probably seen this in print. I am weary of the place of so much responsibility that I cannot do justice to my calling, hence my retirement for young folks to take their As Written: thier place in front and do some thinking for themselves and the cause without my aid.

The students did well at the National Convention of Christian Scientists. You have doubtless As Written: dobtless read an account of itEditorial Note: See The National Association Meeting in the July 1889 issue of The Christian Science Journal. in our Journal.

Press on, use the talents that you have already, never allow them to be lost from lack of use. God will guide you.
