Graves C. Colles (1823-1892) was born and died in Dublin, Ireland. He worked as a solicitor. Colles was married three times. He married Marianne Colles (b. Harrison) in 1872, followed by Sarenama G. Colles (b. Blower) in 1878, and Marjorie Colles in 1879. Marjorie and Colles lived in Dublin when they first became interested in Christian Science through reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures in 1887. They then became students of Mary Baker Eddy's, completing the Primary class together in March 1888. Colles was an ardent supporter of the cause of Christian Science. He was a member of the Royal Zoological Society of Ireland.
