Editorial Note: This is a handwritten copy of paragraphs from Edward J. Arens pamphlet, published
in 1881, titled The Understanding of Christianity, or God. The pamphlet contained numerous plagiarisms from Eddy’s writings and this document
lists the plagiarized sections along with their source in Science and Health. The pamphlet was the cause of the Eddy v. Arens lawsuit, which Eddy brought and won in 1883.
