She saw Mr. Choate take a beautiful white dress that she had made and cut it in two in the middle which spoiled the dress and then put one half of the dress ontoAs Written:on to his child then from her jewels he scraped all the gold and put into a tiny bottle to wash his jewels with

The part that he put ontoAs Written:on to his child was the skirt which looked very awkward as he put it on and he left all the waist and trimmings As Written: trimings and that which was beautiful
