Dear Madam.

I wrote you a few lines a few days since: but since sending them, I have had access to your books on “Science & Health”Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. And I am more than delighted with them. I am an invalid & want to reach a cure, more than words can tell. I know I never can be well through the use of drugs:

I come to you for direction & advice. I dare not trust anyone who claims to be a Metaphysician, because of so many imposters. I am not confined to my room or house but cannotAs Written:can not induce anything.

I will not stop to tell you of my ills: for I know you must be ever taxed with responsibilities: but I write this time to ask what the expense will be to enter the College.

How long a time is required to gain a glimpse of the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science &C&C. I do not apprehend the expense will be within my means: but I would like to know more about this all important power of Metaphysical healing.

I firmly believe in it & long to know more about it.

Are there Metaphysicians in Chicago that you can recommend to me?

I wait for a reply & hope to hear as fully from you as your time will allow.
