Rucia A. Woodruff (c.1838-1905) was born in New York and died in Pasadena, California. She was married to James H. Woodruff. She became interested in Christian Science in 1884 after receiving Christian Science treatment through prayer from Martha E. Sherman, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. There is no record of Woodruff studying with Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
