Dear Mrs. Eddy

No doubt you have many calls on your time, but is it not given to your MasterEditorial Note: Jesus Christ? and in His name I ask for a cup of cold waterMatt 10:42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. , to quench the thirst and longing within me so great I cannot sleep or rest for want of that power which would enable me to go forward and do His work more perfectly,

I received instructions from Mr Sherman last Oct. and since then have given all my time to working out this great problem of life by Christian Science, and have given it as freely as did my Divine MasterEditorial Note: Jesus Christ in taking money only from the rich to be given to the poor. Still I am not satisfied with my work. for if His disciples As Written: deciples healed the sick immediately As Written: immeadiately why should not I especially as I have given up all for Him so much so that I have lost desire for all other reading and do not find any pleasure in dress as in any places of amusement or in ordinary conversation or anything other than this great Truth, but I am not filled am still hungering, is there any way to find this Bread other than one I have taken?

I read the Bible and study its pages with an understanding I never had before but cry for more Light. I study my book Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and see my path and am trying to walk therein have healed the sick in time, but do not want to wait that time, if it is my fault for while they are being healed they do not give our ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science the credit for its work. Now if we can heal as did Jesus As Written: Juses and His disciples As Written: deciples then shall they say it is of God, although it may be brought by the hand of a woman. Now Mrs Eddy can I received any Light from you, if so will you not give it to one who is trying to bring all things in subjection to His will and may God Himself reward you.
