I take the liberty of addressing you. as a Seeker after truth. I am a regular M.D. but have been diligently Studying your works for some time past. and I am deeply interested in it. I had given up the practice of medicine long ago. from conscientious Scruples—and pure disgust. and after reading your works and seeing the effects of the treatment I feel as though a new light had broken upon me. ChristianAs Written:Christain healing must be true or there is nothing in life worth living for. and everything being equal I shall try and fit myself to practice it. I have a very near and dear friend in whose family I am living at present. who has receivedAs Written:recieved a great benefit from the treatment. She has been failing for about a year. and I think the belief of Disease was fixed upon her by her attending Physician. Oh. how much Doctors are accountable for. her condition is wasting of flesh. food not properly assimilated. partial Paralysis of root of tongue and catarrhal discharges from all the mucous surfaces. She has seemed to gain under Dr Shermans treatment. but She has to ride 40 miles to see him. and yesterday and today she could not go in to see him on account of a belief of severe cold from exposure: and she feels very badly about it. Mark 5:29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. Mark 5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? Mark 5:31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? Mark 5:32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. Mark 5:33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. Luke 8:43 ¶And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Luke 8:44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. Luke 8:45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? Luke 8:46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. Luke 8:47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. Luke 8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace. . There are so many adverse influences here that hurt her. it seems too bad. Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Luke 10:3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Luke 10:4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. Luke 10:5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. Luke 10:6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. Luke 10:7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
