Dear Mrs Eddy; —

In the earlier part of January we sent to your address a letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. written by my husband in Type, but worded by me. telling you in truth my experience with Metaphysics. ; I will not believe that my simple words of truth were of so little value in your sight, that you would not even deign me an answer, be it ever so short.

Ever since December have I tried in vain, to purchase for my own use Science and HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, and have since often wished I had followed my husband'sAs Written:husbands, advice and sent to the Publishers direct.

I hope to be in BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts soon, and beg of you Mrs. Eddy grant me a short personal interview. I know you will not misunderstand me, and are the only As Written: ondly person to my knowledge to whom As Written: whome I can confide what weighs heavily on my mind and to whose experience I submit to judge over me and others concerned in the case; —

I am as ever an earnest advocate of Christian Science.
