I wrote you some time since to learn in regard to the terms of Tuition in relation to reduction. There are three persons here beside myself, a Gentleman and two Ladies, who wish to go to you for instruction in Metaphysics, but who are not really able to do so if the terms are so high. Is it three hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $300.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $9,724.54 in 2023. and no less for one single course, the first Course, and can one take more than the one first Course without practicing before taking the second Course.

For myself. I have never had much instruction, and am anxious to do so, am in the Dry Goods business and have been for fifteen years, but it is now the dull season and I have used all spare means to make the last payment on a Farm, and I wish to know if you would take notes for any or all of the amount of my Tuition with good security or good reference, the best Firms in N York cityEditorial Note: New York, New York or in ChicagoEditorial Note: Chicago, Illinois, if so let me hear. I can hire the money but do not like to, I have only recently thought of going to you, so am not prepared, I want to learn at once, this week if possible, will you please answer by return Mail, as there are excursion rates to be had if I can go by the 17th of this MonthAs Written:Mo please state the best you can do, I can give you all the reference you may desire. Hoping to hear at once, so as to be in no doubt as to full particulars
