When can I commence its study? I will have to be instructed here, and what are the preliminaries,

There are so many sick ones being experimented upon by M. Ds; my heart very aches for them.

Mrs Ames, (The mother of Mrs M Harris who advertises in your Journal) a very estimable lady says she thinks I would make a good scientistEditorial Note: Christian Scientist.

I am no great talker but from childhood I have had a high regard for character, and truth,
