Dear Madam,

I have for some time been desiring to send for your books on mental healingEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy., but find that others who have ordered them in Jackson are having trouble in securing them properly and promptly and that Miss Steinmann, who ordered hers at least six weeks ago, has never received them, nor has heard a word from you, although she has written you repeatedly about them. She ordered booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. from you for herself and Miss M. R. DePuy, sending payment for them all in one P.O. order. Miss DePuy rec’d her books, thus proving that you rec’d her order and the money, and it certainly looks as if there were something wrong that Miss S. should not get hers. As we are anxious to have the books, can we not get a reply from you? I do not wish to forward my money for nothing as you can readily see.

Yours respectfully,
Miss O. E. Pettit
