I have met Miss Josephine Lytes C.S. in this cityEditorial Note: Halifax, Nova Scotia, and have received your book "Science & Health"Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy from her, which book has been a kind of Revelation to me. I have had conversations with her also.

It is my intention to visit BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts, leaving here on or about the 2nd Oct. I shall do myself the pleasure of Calling upon you when I arrive. I am bringing my little girl to school. My object in writing now is to ascertain, (as a certain number of Clergymen are admitted to your lectures free) whether I may also come. I have no desire of practicing As Written: practising the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science as a profession, my time being more thankfully occupied now in the duties of my Office & Parish. But I would gladly know more of what it appears to me the world has been waiting for since the days of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
