Dear Mrs Eddy:-

Will you please inform me if you have ever had a student by name of Dr Cowdry, and if so, is he in good standing? my reason for making the inquiry is, that a person by that name is here in Hartford, giving instruction in Christian Science, and I understands claims to be a pupil of yours, I thought if he was a genuine Scientist, I would like to join one of his classes, but being a little doubtfulAs Written:doubtfull, I thought I would write first and find out.
