My dear Mrs Eddy

I have been reading your books 'Science and health'Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy also a number of ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science papers and Journals, I borrowed them of a friend and became so much interested in them that I could hardly spend time to eat or sleep. I wanted to read them all of the time and reread them, to the neglect of other duties.

I became a little interested in the work two years ago. Was some acquainted with Mrs Silsbee. Could not help but have faith in it from the first. But had no opportunity to read the books until now.

And now I feel as though I must learn more of this wonderful ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science.

My business for some time has been to nurse the sick. And now I feel as though I could not do it. I find that I cant serve God and MammonMatt 6:24 ¶No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and
mammon.
Luke 16:13 ¶No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and
mammon.
. And I do not know enough of the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science to heal the sick. Yet I find I can heal myself and children

Have better success sometimes than at others.
