I have read your work in Science and healthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and have received a great deal of benefit from it for which I am very thankful but my limb is not cured and I have not got so that I can see good, I have not put on glasses to see anything since the first of June or taken or applied externally a drug of any kind since AprilAs Written:april,

I think I am more interested every time I take up your workEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy to read, sometimes when I am reading it seems as if I am almost carried away with the spirit of it, but my limb does not get well, I have been wanting to send you something to help along your church building since I saw your call for help in the JournalEditorial Note: The September 1885 issue of The Christian Science Journal had an article titled “Assist the Cause,” calling for contributions towards building a church.. but I don’t feel as if I could do it until I am healed, my expenseAs Written:expence has been so much alreadyAs Written:allready,.
