I called at your College last week and As Written: ang Bought two As Written: too of your BooksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. and am so much interested in the Study of Christian Science that I want to take a course of Instructions the Price is the only thing that will hinder As Written: hender me from Attending your College. I should rather learn at the College than from outside parties. I can learn here for one hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $100.00 in 1884 is the equivalent of $2,768.90 in 2017. but if I can come to the College for the same Money should prefer As Written: prefur to although it will cost me my Rail Road fare more. I am a Machinist by trade and depend wholly on my Earnings in the shop to carry me through have got a little over too hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $200.00 in 1884 is the equivalent of $5,537.79 in 2017. a head and that must pay my tuition and start me I am aware As Written: a ware it will be slow work to get a business but feel that I can do it I have so far succeeded in getting every one I talk with on the subject interested in it and feel by pushing they will be true believers As Written: beleavers I will send you in this a short piece that you can publish in your Paper you think it worthy of notice. Please to bear in mind that I shall learn the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science of you if possible As Written: posiable if not of someone As Written: some one else I do not care particular to take instruction in teaching. if I had the Money I had a few years ago would not ask for any deductions and will also agree to help the College all I can after I get to work if you do not think favorably of my offer should like to hear As Written: heare as soon as convenient As Written: conveint .
