I do not know as I have your name quite correct but the address was sent me and this is what I understood.

Will you please tell me the name of a physician of your school nearer than BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts? Do you know of a Healer in Phila.Editorial Note: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania?

I have a sister who is a great sufferer and has been for near three yearsAs Written:yrs. We have tried a number of doctors and numerous treatments until we have exhausted nearly all of our scanty means and she is no better she is entirely helpless she has no natural sleep food does not nourish the body, if she could have natural sleep once more I could have a little hope.

She has been married fourteen yearsAs Written:yrs. had no sickness but the birth of two children until three yearsAs Written:yrs. ago taken with lame ankle now every joint is affected As Written: effected it is very hard to see one suffer so and we have tried so hard to relieve her.

I have had but two undisturbed nights' As Written: night's rest for more than a year from having to wait upon her. Will you give me a word of advice please we feel we want to try longer to help her.

I will be thankful to you if you will send me a reply soon.
