Sarah J. Cranmer (1850-1933) was born in Northampton Township, New
Jersey, and died in Trenton, New Jersey. She graduated from New Jersey State Normal
School and thereafter became a teacher. Later in life she became a pastry baker. She
moved to Trenton in about 1918. In 1886 Cranmer wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to inquire
about Christian Scientists in her area who could provide treatment.
