Dear Mrs Eddy:

I rejoice today I have been greatly edifiedAs Written:edefied, & instructed in studying your Volumes of Science & HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, & reading your journal- My health has been much improved by studying your works, & treatment of a Christian ScientistAs Written:C, S, I have lost my hearing very much, which is a very great affliction indeed to me- According to your theory, it would seem that I might be healed; But they, (2 different ones) have treated me some time; but do not succeed in helping me any as yet– M.D,s say my age is the cause, (83) I should esteem it a great blessing if it could be restored; But it is of little importance; comparatively; For 74 years, I have been walking with God, my "Life hid with christ in God, when he who is my life shall appear then we shall appear with him in Glory"Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. — "Blessed to dwell in the secret place of the most high, & abide under the shadow of the Almighty"Ps 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

How precious the promise, "He shall cover thee with his feathers, & under his wings shall he trust, his truth shall be his shield & buckler"Ps 91:4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
