Accession: 645A.66.015
Editorial Title: S. S. Barnard to Mary Baker Eddy, September 24, 1883
Author: S. S. Barnard
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: September 24, 1883
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by S. S. Barnard on lined paper from Woburn, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Barnard tells Mary Baker Eddy that she was unable to join Eddy's recent class due to financial problems. She has been staying with and caring for a family for two years, but they are not able to pay her so she has had to use her own limited resources. She comments on how she hopes to resolve the problems and also tells Eddy about two patients she is treating through Christian Science. She is pleased with the work she is doing for them, considering that Science and Health has been her only teacher. Barnard writes that if Eddy can wait for compensation, she would like to take class with her as soon as possible.
