Accession: 578.59.014
Editorial Title: Thomas Swartwout to Mary Baker Eddy, August 10, 1883
Author: Thomas Swartwout
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: August 10, 1883
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Thomas Swartwout on lined paper from Black Hawk, Colorado.
Editorial Note: Swartwout sends Mary Baker Eddy money in hopes that he can obtain copies of everything that she publishes. He hopes at some point to study with her in a class. He asks if she can heal without seeing the patient. He has heard that she can. He says that his wife had a cancer removed from her foot and has been lame ever since. The condition has caused her to become completely prostrated. If Eddy can heal her, Swartwout would be happy to pay her whatever she would charge.
