Dear Mrs. Eddy -

If I can manage to save up the one hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $100.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $2,750.04 in 2020. by the time you have your next class will you take me for that? I have been denying myself all Winter, for that purpose — of course I could have done it more easily if I had not my little niece and nephew to care for, but I cannot let them go to the poor house. By the last of Jan. or first of Feb. I should be able to do that — save one hundred dollarsEditorial Note: $100.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $2,750.04 in 2020. with what I now have.
