Dear Mrs Eddy

Allow me to say I have just returned from yo ur estate on Boston St & that the Board of health As Written: halth have attended to the vault-

Mrs Breed had only part of the rent for me when she gives me the balance will forward it to you.

She asked me to remind you of the cellar steps which she said were to have been fixed some time ago it is getting quite dangerous: If you like I will see a responsible Carpenter & have it attended to As Written: too it looks to me as though it only needed one new step– I shall be out of town th e remainder of this week & next week on my return would be glad to hear from you.
