My Dear Teacher

I received yours of Apr. 30Editorial Note: This letter is not extant.. I am feeling well and I am having quite a little practice. my patients are most of them those that have failed to get help by any other mode of treatment. but my patients are all better than they were As Written: wer when I commenced to treat them. I am doing a work here that no one will do unless I remain here and do it. I think it is my duty to remain here as there is no one in this part of the stateEditorial Note: Massachusetts, and as I am getting As Written: geting to be quite well known in this vicinity. it seems to be just the place for me. I have never done much that you, or any of the brothers or sisters know of, for this principle As Written: principal of Christian Science. I know myself, that I have done but little directly, but I have scattered very much seed that will take rootMatt 13:1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side. Matt 13:2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. Matt 13:3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; Matt 13:4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Matt 13:5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: Matt 13:6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. Matt 13:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: Matt 13:8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. , as I have traveled about this portion As Written: potion of the state and I have put your name into the work, wherever I have laboured. I have some patients that I would like to see doing better but I dont know, on the whole, but I ought As Written: aught to be satisfied As Written: satisfide . I dont know when I shall come to Boston. I wish it was not so far. I would like to see you, very much. I hope you will write to me again. I would like to hear from you at any time. I will not write any more this time but will write again when I hear from you. Direct your letter to Belmont House Springfield Mass.
