I have lately had given to me a copy of the Mind-Cure & Science of lifeEditorial Note: This is a reference to a monthly periodical published by A. J. Swarts titled The Mind Cure and Science of Life (later renamed Mental Science Magazine).. Everything I read was so new and strange! The articleAs Written:artical Man is Spirit and Invisible I found my mind ready to receive.

I read through the paperEditorial Note: The Mind Cure and Science of Life (later renamed Mental Science Magazine) published by A. J. Swarts.; and put it down with an unutterable longing to be with you, first to be cured, and then to be taught. If it were not for the lack of the "paltry dollar" I should have been in BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts, to be near you, some time ago.

What a spiritual unfolding there must be to be able to cure disease. and how wonderful to be cured of the infirmities of the flesh in such a way! What must I do to be brought to this light

I want to be doing something to know and understand it all.

Yours Truly
Clara W Johnson.

May 11th This letter been forgotten and forgotten! Perhaps sometime you would like to take a real quiet restful month; where only the leaves and the birds would disturb you. If you needed such rest you could find it in our little woodland home and welcome! You see how I do want to know you
