Clara W. Johnson (1846-1910) was born in Elbridge, New York, and died in Springfield, Missouri. She married James M. Johnson in Hamilton, Ohio, in 1869. Johnson joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 29, 1894. She was listed in the directory of The Christian Science Journal as a Christian Science practitioner in 1899. Although she expressed an interest in studying at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College, there is no record of her doing so.
