Our Beloved Mother.

It is with the deepest humility, thanksgiving and love that we announce to you the union of the First and Second churches of this cityEditorial Note: Kansas City, Missouri.

The coming together of these two bodies was complete, like Solomon's Temple, without the sound of a hammerI Kings 6:7 And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building. .

For three weeks, however, the final action was deferred, hoping that the Third church would join in the demonstration, thus making the unity complete.

We herewith enclose the official report of the last committee As Written: connittee meeting of the three churches, before final action was taken, also the letter from the Second church to the First church, and the reply.

These will show you more clearly than we could write, the facts of the demonstration.

Great blessings have already resulted from this union, and the thought of Love predominates.

Our congregation now numbers between three and four hundred.

We hope and feel that our next demonstration will be a builded church, and more than all dear Mother, we feel that this great manifestation of Love has come to us as an answer to your unceasing prayerI Thess 5:17 Pray without ceasing. in behalf of all your children. That we may prove worthy of this blessing, and thus help to bring out the Oneness of God and His Idea, is our daily prayer.

Your loving children.
Mrs Emma D Behan C.S.D.
Amanda J. Baird. C.S.D.
Dora M. Knapp. C.S.

Special committee As Written: comnittee appointed by the church to inform Mrs. Eddy of this union.
