I trust you will not think that I wish to annoy you with matters as they are here in Chicago, I have no fear of the outcomeAs Written:out come but I feel that we must be vigilantAs Written:vig lent and constantAs Written:constent in principle, and the “Truth” which is “Mighty will prevail”, Rest assured, Dear Teacher, your advice Shall be followed in Spirit, as well as in letter, I feel “strong in the Lord”Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. , Principle, and like Saying to our little harmonious AssociationAs Written:Ass. “fear not little flock, it is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom”Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. I have accepted an invitation to meet Col. Bundy, editor of the “Religio Philosophical Journal”Editorial Note: The Religio-Philosophical Journal was a spiritualist publication, published in Chicago, Illinois from 1865 to 1905., who has become disgusted with the practices of Magnetism Mesmerism & the bogus claims of Mediums etc, I think, although rather external, he is about ready to take a step in the right direction, I feel that in all our conversations with those who are inquiring after light & truth, we should be “wise as Serpents & harmless as doves”Matt 10:16 ¶Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. , Mrs Avery has commenced demonstrating, Her first patient, a difficult case, which I sent her, knowing she could cure, has improved surprisingly since even the first treatment, (She has given her five) and she is nearly well, has borrowed the first vol. of “Science & Health”Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. having failed to find any for sale in the city. I trust the supply hereafter, may be equal to the demand.

Please don’t give yourself any further trouble in regard to Swarts, I find he is weak unreliable &, I fear untruthful.
